As an on going joke with my step daughters and I…the title of this Blog…”you girls keep me young” is a famous quote from one of our all time FAVORITE movies to watch when they sleep over…Mean Girls. They always laugh at that scene when the young mother says to her daughter and friends “Ohhhh you girls keep me young” And say that is me to a T!!!
Now at first I wasn’t sure to take that as a good thing or not. As thale mom in the movie was over the top hahaha. But then again so am I. So I joined in on the laughter…and now it is our little inside joke.
After work today, I got to thinking about just how much of an impact all the young females I encounter in my day to day life actually have on me. At the shop I work at, majority of our employees are High School Students or College Students. They are young, hip, bright and have so much to offer.
I learn a lot from my “youngins.” They “keep me young” if you will. They also have been a huge source of my Motivation lately. I’ve shared with the girls at work about my blog. Told that what my goals for the future are…and ALL of them have “hyped” me up tremendously. When I say hyped, they have given me the motivation I didn’t know I had. All their insights on social media platforms and what is trending etc. It is all fascinating to me.
I look up to these girls and guys. The young adults in this world. Well a least most of the ones that work for me lol. They have had such a huge impact on my life as a manager at my shop and now with my Blog. There is nothing but support and telling me things like “I think this is going to be good for you!” That really keep me motivated and driven to see this through.
Even on days where I think I have nothing to “Ramble” about, I need to stay consistent. And with the help of my friends, family, and the young adults working for us that have had such a huge impact on my life…I know that I am bound to do Big things!!!
So again. Thank you all to my followers, visitors, people who have shared or liked any of my posts. The support means the world 🙂🌍 to me. Thank you thank you thank you…
Till next time…
