I can smell it in the air. On some nights, now I need to wear a Hoodie to walk Queenie!! Fall is on the Horizon people!! Are you Ready!?!?

I sure as Heck am!!! This is my all time Favorite time of the year. Hoodie weather. Bonfires and s’mores weather. Long walks stepping on crunchy leaves. Just the smell of Fall. Going to Linvilla Orchards!! Decorating the House for Fall. Halloween!! Thanksgiving!!! Parades and more!! Fall is my time to shine!! I feel like this is going to be the best Fall yet. It’s the first Fall in our new Home,so I am beyond excited to put out all the decorations. I need to dig some out of my garage and dust them off, and then some I still need to buy. ☺️😎

Not sure if I talked about it before on here or in one of my many tiktoks lol. But this year I want to do a different color scheme. More purples and blacks and pinks and blues and silvers. Instead of the typical oranges and yellows, I want to do more of a enchanted forest type decor style. Pink and Blue pastel colors are in this year. I just got Velvet pink Pumpkins!! Never thought I’d be so excited about a velvet pumpkin but woooeeee. I bought 9 of them hahaha. Couldn’t help myself. Not sure what I will do with them yet but I will most definitely keep everyone posted.

Ok, sorry rambling like crazy right there. But one of my passions is decorating. For any Season. I love the whole process. Buying new decor. Looking through old decor. Getting Hand me down decor from my Mother. The Woman I learned it all from!!

As a child every season my Mom would decorate. For winter snowmen for spring we had bunnies. For summer I think it was just lots of flowers. Then pumpkins for fall and lots of Santa Claus for Christmas. So our home was always decorated according to the season. So of course, now that I have children of my own I want to keep that tradition alive. Because I know as a little girl I just loved how cozy my home Always felt.

So here’s to Fall. Here’s to wearing Hoodies, and watching football with friends. Here’s to Bonfires and roasted mallows!! Our family loves it all!!! And the best part is that we are all together to make these memories!!

Although I’ve been told by my stepdaughter, I need to wait til September 1st to put out the decorations. I said “I’ll take that date, your father wants me to wait til October!!” Hahaha Never gonna happen. So only a few more days till I get to go Fall Crazy on my Home. And this year I’m even gonna decorate outside too!!!

Let’s not even get started on Halloween!! We need to figure out costumes this year. Kind of want to do a Family thing. Something where we all are dressed as something that matches in a way … Like the Scooby Doo Gang haha or Ninja Turtles 🐢

We will narrow that down next lol. I’m off to grab a late night snack and some snuggles with my puppy. In just about a week I will be in full blown “Fall Mode” And I can not wait!!!
