Need some Advice

So, as my followers on any social media platform, have seen recently, I have been honing in on my crafty side and attempting DIY crafts, that I’ve been doing in my “spare time.” I use that term lightly. As a manager of a booming Pizzeria and a Mother of 3…there really isn’t any “spare time,” except when there is. Haha, and in that case I DIY!!!

My first project was a Halloween DIY, a crystal ball 🔮!! I think they turned out amazing. They have purple lights on the inside that you can untwist lid and turn on and off as you like. Instead of gluing the ball part to the candle stick stand, that I painted black; I knew I wouldn’t be able to ever turn the lights off if I glue the two together. My brilliant stepdaughter came up with the idea of Velcro!! That’s what I did and it works perfectly. All you do is detach the ball from stand then untwist lid to the ball to turn off and on your lights!! It’s genius! Super cute, and the best part….all supplies were at the Dollar Tree, even the batteries for my lights!!

My second project was a “Fall inspired Chic” Wreath!! This is my favorite! It truly looks like something I would see in Hobby Lobby, TJMaxx, any department store or decor store really. The light blues and pinks, which are hot colors for Fall 2022, (yes I did my research) mix perfectly with all the different types s of twine and ribbon that I used to cover the wreath metal outline. I used 5 different types of twine and ribbon. All different widths also which makes for super neat texture. Also, everything purchased at Dollar Tree.

Now I can not reveal everything!!! Like how much it cost me to make. Time needs to be configured in. But again, key point to remember, all my supplies, yes ALL of them are from Dollar Tree and or Dollar General. No need to spend $4-5 on a thing of ribbon when you can get almost same amount for $1.25. Granite it may not be the same length of the $5 one…but buy 2 of them!! That would still be cheaper.

I’m a rambler and a saver!!! So my question to all my followers…how do I go about posting that I can make these items or more custom items for people. That I am willing to make other people’s decor. I love to do it. It makes me happy. Just need to find a way of starting the whole process. Any help would be amazing.
