Time to Play Catch Up

Feels good to be back. Sorry I took a few days off from writing. The weekends, as some of you may have been able to catch onto by now, are very hectic. Between running a Pizzeria and having 3 kids, a hubby, and a dog…life gets “lifey” alot around here, and like always, alot changes within a few days.

So here we are. Time to play catch up. Let’s start with the least important…buisness at the shops been booming. That’s putting it lightly. It’s Football season. What do people love with their Football?! Pizza and Wings. That’s where I come in. 😆 Obviously not just me but it feels like a lot of the time. We are still beyond understaffed and working our “A Team” aka our “Only team” to death. We are all exhausted and on top of that, one of our main cooks is on vacation this week!!!!

That’s enough about that subject. Only reason I end it there is because I refuse to spend the rest of my “ONLY” night off ranting and complaining about something that now, is out of my control! So … Let’s catch up some more. I dyed my hair. It turned out purple 💜. We’re just not going to talk much about that either 🤣🤣🤣 This is becoming a Paragraph full of things were not talking much about. Ok.

Onto the crafts, because that is what makes me happy. Well besides blogging that is! So I did some dollar tree splurging this weekend. It was pay week so I always splurge a little on supplies. I’m trying to stock up. So when I see a craft I would like to try, I just may already have the supplies at home. Although, I’ll tell you this, the hubby needs to build me a little craft nook somewhere!!! My crafts are currently overloading the kitchen table as we speak. Oops!

Anywho ..most of the crafts are Fall related. Because HELLO!!! It’s Fall People!!!

Lots of oranges and greens and gold’s and blacks. So far tonight my son and I spray painted a bunch of items that I will start DIYing, if that’s even a word, once they dry. I am being very impatient mind you!! I’ve already been down the basement twice to check on the items lol. I have these adorable wooden stack of pumpkins that can hang off the wall we painted. A big plate and a glass vase. Stay tuned to see what I come up with!!!

As far as the kiddos go, we got to see our oldest this weekend. She came down from college to surprise us!! It was awesome to have her and her sister here. It made our son so happy to see his sissy’s. Family is very important to us. Especially now. We are all getting so close. I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect.

I also was able to cram a quick lunch in with my bestie. Of course I am talking about my one and only mother. She really is my best friend. No matter how long we are together when we hang out, we always are laughing and having a great time. We talk about work, crafts that I’m doing, things that I forgot to bring her, we talked about the kids life everything. She is my best friend and I love the time that I get to have with her. I wish that I would have more time with her but I will take what I can get and I know that she feels the same.

Last thing I can thing of to catch you all up on. I found a new show. On Netflix of course!!! It’s called “In the Dark” it is fascinating. About a Blind woman who is trying to figure out her friends murder but it’s quirky, snarky and funny. Just what I need to unwind on this rainy nasty night. I have all my cozy Halloween lights lit up and I’m snuggling on my comfy couch. This is the life!!!

Thanks for coming along for this journey with me. I truly am so grateful to have so many supporters and followers. Here’s to many more.

Till next time…
