School started August 30th this year, well for our littlest. It is now the 21st. Not even a month has gone by, and SCHOOL GERMS have taken my whole family out. My hubby and I had a viscous stomach bug/cold. Runny nose and mucusy cough and stuff. Just lovely over here. Our middle child has strep along with like 30 of the kids in her school. So WOW. ๐ฎThen this morning, my baby boy wakes up with a fever of 102.9, a bad headache and no voice. ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ท๐
Let me explain something to you. When this happens, this being finding out your kid will not be going to school…it’s not just like “Ok kiddo back to bed we go.” And snuggle with your sick boy. No, now you have to email the school. Not just 1 person either, 3. I have to call the Mom of the kids I take to school and let her know we won’t be going. Then I have to contact my boss. It’s a whole process in where I don’t even get to console my kid or do what you would think anyone would be able to do. Just some things I was thinking about earlier today.
This week has just been Hell. That’s putting it very lightly. I’m exhausted, and now I am also loosing my voice. For me that is a BIG DEAl, as I love to talk, alot. I’m sure my husband and son are going to enjoy it haha. But I will not.
So for the 5th night in a row we are eating “Lipton Chicken Noodle”, it’s a family thing. My Mom or Dad would always make this for us when we were sick. Best chicken noodle soup ever, in my personal opinion. It just has that warm, cozy, fuzzy (go with it people) come snuggle up on the couch with me feeling. So now we always try to have some on hand. Let’s just say the shelves at our local grocery store may no longer have Lipton Chicken Noodle. My apologies in advanced. That’s just another lesson I learned from good ole Mom and Dad. Find something you love or like that Is an essential for the most part and buy more than 1. You will regret it if you dont. I’ve learned this to be true in my almost 34 years here. Lol
Like always I’m rambling. I am ready to call it a night. Just have a few more dishes and things to clean up and then BEDTIME. Anywho, have an awesome night. Wash your hands. Those Germs are no Joke.
Till next time.
