My Morning Routine

I am always awful at my beginning sentences when starting these rambles of mine. I never quit know what I want or am going to end up rambling about. But I guess that is the beauty of calling this blog of mine, “Kasey’s Rambles.”

I decided to look up some blogging ideas on one of my favorite search apps, Pinterest. My all-time FAV app to search for inspiration for literally everything and anything. Whoever invented Pinterest is a Genius in my opinion. Ok back to my findings. I found a great list with tons of blog ideas. The very top one was” your morning routine.” I thought this was perfect as I find myself always complaining or talking about how much of a routine and a robot I am in the morning. So here we go…

Anywhere between 6:45am and 7:15, I am waking up. Now mind you, this is after waking up multiple times throughout the night because I don’t sleep that well at all. Haven’t for years. I automatically go and check on our son, who normally is either just waking up, or still asleep. Then I walk (like a zombie) into the kitchen, open the blinds, walk into the living room, open the blinds, and same pattern with the back bedrooms. Then I slide my shoes on and put the dog’s harness on. Out the door we go for walk “numero uno” of the day. After our walk, I get the dog and our boy their breakfast. Now it’s “my turn” to get ready. At this point it is around 735am-740am. Now when I quote these times people, I want you to know that almost every morning it is the exact same time, down to the minute. That is how much of a routine I have down, or how much of a robot I am in the morning ha-ha. So now I’m ready and my sons dressed. If I have time, I will try to walk dog one more time, since after I leave, I won’t be home till after work. By 8:15am we are out the door on our way to pick up the kiddos we carpool with. By 8:35am the kiddos are at school. I give my kisses and high fives and off we go our separate ways, well at least for a few hours ha-ha. Around 8:40am Tuesday through Friday I am on my way to work and that my friends is my “morning robotic routine.” Impressed, I kind of am, after seeing this in black and white.

On a serious note, seeing my morning routine does make me very proud. For years I struggled just to get myself out of bed, so being able to be a robot, a force to reckon with in the morning is pretty cool if you ask me.

That was actually really fun to write that all out. I think I may go down the list of recommendations for blog ideas and start checking off one by one, stay tuned.

Till Next Time….
