Kasey's Rambles

Hello all. I am so sorry it has been some time now since I have shared with you my rambles and such. My favorite saying “Life gets Lifey” sure does fit in this scenario, although so does “seasonal depression” and just pure exhaustion and overwhelmedness! Not a word, I know, but today it is. Just go with it people. I worked 10 grueling hours of nonstop chaos and now I am so close to passing out, but I wanted to get some rambles in beforehand. So, let’s not judge on the spelling and or grammatical errors, because there will be plenty.

Any who, let’s start with that nasty Seasonal Depression that loves to creep up and literally pinch you when you least expect it. Well, it got me a few weeks ago when we had our first taste of “winter.” Here in lovely Delco the weather loves to mess with us on the daily. One minute you’re wearing shorts and tank tops the next you’re in a parka, leg warmers and earmuffs!! When it gets cold, I get cold ha-ha. Sorry sounded funnier in my head. Yet so true if you think about it. I shut down, I don’t want to talk to anyone and I kind of have a snippy snarky tone when people approach me….so in a sense the cold turns me “cold.” I hate it. I am not a cold person. Far from it actually, but man this cold weather has me in a funk that is for sure.

Work has been stressful as we still have yet to find any real help! We are all getting more and more agitated and stressed and just over it. Right now, is when I wish Money grew on trees, I’ll tell ya! Oh well. I still get up and do what needs to be done day in and day out. Just here recently it hasn’t been done with a smile on my face. I just wish I knew why it was so hard to find people who really want to work. What’s everyone doing out there for their Money? Please share your secrets!!! Remember the whole reason I started this blog in the first place is because I had an ephiphany I wanted to be that mom who works from home. Makes great money and is still home with her family not missing out on crucial family events. Thats the goal here people…But until I figure out the equation to that huge problem, I shall wake up every day, go to work, and TRY to put a smile on my face. Totally fine if it’s not they’re some of the time. No one’s perfect, not even me!! ha-ha

In other News, Christmas is right around the corner, and I am SO READY PEOPLE!!!!! Beyond ready! Literally itching to put up all my décor for the year. Rule is I have to wait till after Thanksgiving. Little does my hubby know the second I’m done doing thanksgiving dinner dishes…. Christmas boxes are coming out!!! I am doing a Buffalo Checkered Christmas theme all throughout the house. Normally I do different color schemes for each room, but I love the black and white buffalo checkered so much I think I will incorporate it in every room. So excited to see everything all put together. This is our first Christmas in this home. It’s always so much more exciting the first Christmas in a new home!!!! The possibilities are endless! This year is going to be magical, and i think putting up my decor is going to be just what I need to get me fully out of this funk.

As usual, I am getting more and more sleepier as the time moves by. I am going to head to bed lovely people. Thank you all again for coming along for the ride that is my crazy rambling life lol. Hope you enjoy. Night night.
